  • care and feeding of watercolors

Ideally, Watercolors should be matted with acid free mats and framed under glass as water or mist can reactivate the paint and cause damage. Pay attention to such things as glare vs non-glare glass or plastic and whether the painting is exposed to sunlight. Sunlight can fade any watercolor and/or alter the color. It's best to display them out of direct sunlight.
